Meet our Management Team

Selena Crook - Director

It’s a challenge to work in an environment that solely consists of ensuring the constant safety of another person's life. The healthcare industry is always a unique and complex field that I felt I needed to serve in, to help those in need with a drive of delivering holistic care. To me, holistic care of an individual is taking a wider approach not only on diagnosis/condition but prognosis, treatment, social environment, psycho-social, cultural identification and Individual emotional needs. I personally believe this is where Mana will differ amongst many. Mana Wellness is the essence of my heart openly expressed within a living environment. It is a place where ideas, innovation, experience and progress are constantly being discussed and achieved to provide a service that is unique and individualised.

Mana Wellness manifests that belief that no matter the disadvantages of an individual born into this world they deserve the same equal opportunities and genuine ability to achieve overall happiness within their lives as others. This is the essence of why we created this company.

Chinonso Nwankwo - Director / Operations Manager

With years of experience in the health and disability sector, I have always found great fulfilment in supporting people to live with dignity, independence and confidence.

My passion for people and desire to make a genuine difference inspired me to be part of creating Mana Wellness Disability Services. For me, Mana Wellness is more than a business, it is about people, community and making sure everyone feels valued, respected and included.

I am particularly passionate about diversity and inclusion. Coming from a multicultural background, I understand the importance of representation and creating a workplace where people from all cultures and backgrounds feel welcome and valued.

I believe a diverse workforce makes us stronger and helps us better understand and support the people and communities we work with.

At the heart of Mana Wellness is a simple belief- everyone deserves to feel that they belong, have a voice and have the opportunity to live a meaningful life.

Rebecca Wilson - Service Delivery Manager / Service Coordinator

I am the Service Delivery Manager at Mana Wellness Disability Services, with over 15 years of experience in the disability and community services sector. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about empowering people, advocating for the rights and wellbeing of my clients, and delivering person-centred support that promotes dignity, independence, and inclusion.

My approach is grounded in the belief that every individual is unique and should be seen as a whole person—not defined by their limitations, but recognised for their strengths, goals, and potential. I value building genuine relationships based on trust, compassion, and respect.

As someone who is spiritually minded, I believe in supporting people on every level—physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual—while respecting each person's individual beliefs, choices, and journey.

Contact Me

Catherine Kennedy - Service Coordinator

My name is Catherine but everyone calls me 'Cat'. I'm one of the Service Coordinators and have been with Mana Wellness since 2021. Prior to being Service Coordinator, I was a support worker for Mana Wellness.

I have a clinical background and past experience in disability and aged care before moving into the clinical field, and then moved back into the disability industry.

Due to my personal experience growing up caring for my mum and watching the deterioration in mental health from my cousin, I fell into the industry naturally and wanted to be able to treat those with a disability the same way i would want my loved ones cared for.

I now advise this to staff from a managers role and try and embed this thought process into their training and ongoing care for our participants. I want nothing but the best care for all of our participants and will accept nothing less.

In my spare time (what's spare time again?) I chase around my 3yr old daughter when she runs off with things she knows she's not supposed to have and roll my eyes to yet another tantrum because I won't let her drink the cooking oil, vinegar, eat the dogs food or chew on their toys.

I'm also a stepmum to 3 teenagers and working through those teenage battles, emotions, and misunderstandings that we have all experienced ourselves at some point (even though they think we're old as dust and don't know what things they're up to).

I'm a light-hearted, easy-going person, and love to have a good laugh and joke with people and want our participants and staff to feel comfortable to approach me about anything and be able to talk or vent.

I love getting the chance to drop in and surprise participants with a visit and have a chat.

I love keeping fit and healthy by doing weight training and CrossFit. I also love to devote my time into bettering myself and inspiring others to do the same. I read many books and listen to many audios daily, as I am committed to ongoing personal development. I love to travel and can’t wait to see more of the beauties in the world. My role at Mana is Accounts, which means I work to make sure Mana gets paid appropriately so our clients and staff are taken care of.

My Aunty that has a deep passion for the Disability sector is the one that brought me into this industry. Although, I may not be a support worker on the floor, I’ve had experience in Residential Youth Work and can relate to the roles and responsibilities of being a support worker. I will always have a profound respect for those that support clients, as it can be challenging from time to time, but rewarding also.

I still and always will have a passion for helping people. So, I do my best to stay on top of the accounts and invoices to ensure smooth operations within Mana. It is a privilege to be able to offer a helping hand to Mana, my Aunty, the workers, the clients and their families.
